Privacy Policy for Doodlepop
This privacy policy describes how the Doodlepop Android application ("the app", "we", "our") handles your data. By using the app you agree to the practices described here.
1. Data we collect from you directly
None. Doodlepop does not have user accounts, does not require sign-in, and does not transmit your photos to any server. Photos you select are processed entirely on your device and saved to your device's gallery.
2. Data collected by third-party SDKs
The app integrates the Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) SDK to display advertisements. AdMob may collect or process the following on your device:
- Advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID)
- Approximate location (derived from IP)
- Device information (model, OS version, language)
- App interaction events (ad impressions, clicks)
This data is used by Google to serve relevant ads and measure performance. See Google's policies for full details:
3. Consent for personalized ads
On first launch, users in the EU, UK, and other regions covered by GDPR / CCPA-style laws are presented with a consent form (powered by Google's User Messaging Platform). You can change your consent at any time from About → Reset Ad Consent inside the app.
4. Permissions the app requests
- Photo picker access — only the photos you explicitly select are handed to the app; no broad gallery access is granted.
- Internet access — used only by the AdMob SDK to fetch ads.
5. Children
Doodlepop is intended for users aged 13 and older. It is not designed for, directed at, or marketed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by bumping the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
